Stingrays Parent Sub-Committees

2007-2008 Season

The Sub-Committees are an important part of the swim team. All of the committees have responsibilities to help the team grow and be successful. Below you will find some basic information on each sub-committee.

• Apparel Committee - Responsible for helping to design t-shirts, sweatshirts or other apparel for the team. Will make recommendations on team suits to the PAC committee.
• Social Committee - Responsible for planning and implementing team-building events throughout the season as well as planning the end of the season banquet.
• Communications/Graphics Committee - Responsible for getting information to parents via email, handouts or letters. Also responsible for designing and updating the team bulletin boards and designing and updating the team website.
• Meet Committee - Responsible for helping to schedule volunteers for home swim meets. Some members of this committee will learn how to operate the timing system as well as become officials. We will be training swim officials in early November.
• Fundraising Committee - Responsible for developing fundraising ideas as well taking recommendations for use of funds.
